Sebastiana Gagliano Springmann has practiced dentistry in Williamsburg since 1992. A native of Brooklyn, New York, she attended New York University, trained as a biomedical sculptor and was on staff at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center providing prosthetic rehabilitation. Upon deciding to further her studies, she relocated to Williamsburg and attended The College of William and Mary and then The Medical College of Virginia where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree.
Dr. Springmann is very active in professional and community affairs. She has worked as a public health dentist for schoolchildren in New Kent County, chaired the Children's Dental Health Committee for the Peninsula Dental Society, acted as an advisor to the Virginia Dental Assistants' Association and the Medical Careers Institute's Dental Assisting program, served as the Chief of Dental Service, Williamsburg Community Hospital, raised funds for childrens' charities through the Smiles for Life campaign and restored smiles for less fortunate patients through Donated Dental Services and Smiles for Success. She is an active supporter of William and Mary athletics and served as secretary, vice president, and then president of the Williamsburg Chapter of the Society of the Alumni of William and Mary. She has been active in the Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade, Junior Women's Club and is a member of the Colonial Italian American Organization (CIAO).
Dr. Springmann is a Member of the Radiation Advisory Board for the Commonwealth and is also on the Advisory Board for Thomas Nelson Community College's Dental Hygiene Program and a member of the Thomas Nelson Community College Foundation Board. She was recently named a Director of the CIAO Foundation. Dr. Springmann is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the Peninsula Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Virginia Academy of General Dentistry, the Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the American Association of Women Dentists and the Crown Council. Dr. Springmann earned her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) in 2013. This is one of the most rigorous continuing dental education programs today. Less than 5% of all dentists ever achieve Fellowship. It means she stays up to date on the most current dental procedures in order to offer her patients the highest quality of care. Along with her husband, Doug, she is an avid outdoor enthusiast, enjoying running, hiking, backpacking, kayaking. A loyal supporter of the Heritage Humane Society, she has several companion animals.
Omar Hasham, DDS

Omar Hasham, DDS was born and raised in the United Kingdom. He graduated from Cardiff University School of Dentistry in 1994 and then completed residencies in general practice, oral surgery and orthodontics before entering private practice in London. He worked as an Associate and then Senior Dentist in several practices performing all aspects of dentistry for a wide variety of patients
Dr. Hasham obtained his Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians Glasgow, specializing in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics in 2002. After moving to the United States in 2009 with his Connecticut-born American wife, Dr. Hasham completed a 2 year Advanced Education in General Dentistry certificate at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. During that time he was trained in cutting-edge technology and evidence-based dentistry.
Dr Hasham comes to Williamsburg from Northern Virginia where he worked for a large multi-office dental practice. He was exposed to all aspects of dentistry and learned a good deal about systems and techniques to benefit patients. He also mentored new graduates at various locations throughout Northern Virginia.
Dr. Hasham is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. During free time Dr. Hasham enjoys traveling and the great outdoors with his wife Kasia and their boys Liam and Oscar. The boys are avid soccer players who have enjoyed being coached by their dad. The family has settled in Fords Colony and is looking forward to participating in all things Williamsburg.
Eric L Niver, DDS, MS

Dr. Eric L Niver is a specialist in Periodontology and Dental Implants. He completed his undergraduate studies at Brandeis University, then attended New York University College of Dentistry where he received his DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery). He then completed a specialty residency in Periodontology at the University of California at San Francisco, where he received intense surgical and implant training, sedation certification, and his Masters of Science in Craniofacial Biology. The subject of his Masters thesis was the attachment between the tooth and bone, which was published in the Journal of Periodontal Research.
Dr. Niver is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, which means he has made significant achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements of the specialty and is certified by the American Board of Periodontology. He has been the recipient of research and dental leadership awards, has attended numerous meetings and symposia on various topics in periodontology and implant dentistry, and has served on the faculty of New York University and UC San Francisco dental schools.

When away from the office, Dr. Niver enjoys all Tidewater has to offer with his wife, Krystie and daughter, Whitney. His many interests including cooking, hiking, travel, running, biking, and especially the company of family and friends!
Bryan Horspool, DDS

Bryan Horspool was born and raised in Southern California. He attended Brigham Young University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology in 2003. He then moved to Los Angeles, California to attend the University Of Southern California School Of Dentistry where he received his DDS Degree in 2008. It was here also where he accepted the Military Health Professions Scholarship and agreed to serve with the United States Army upon graduation.
After dental school, Dr. Horspool completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at Fort Sill, Oklahoma in 2009. For the next three years, Dr. Horspool served as the 2nd BCT dentist for the 1st Infantry Division at Fort Riley, Kansas and deployed with them to Iraq in 2010. Dr. Horspool completed the Advanced Endodontics Program at Fort Gordon, Georgia and received his Certificate in Endodontics in the summer of 2014.
He has through this time remained on active duty status with the United States Army and now serves a commitment here in Hampton Roads as an Endodontist. With an ongoing effort to practice quality Endodontics outside the military environment, he has embarked upon the opportunity to work here in the Williamsburg community.
Dr. Horspool is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Endodontists. Outside of his professional career, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Jamie, and their four children who are now all New Town residents. Together they enjoy the outdoors and look forward to discovering Virginia.
